Couscous is easy, delicious and nutritious.  Add boiling water, cover, and wait 7 minutes.  Creative ingredients to add to your couscous creation may include powdered milk, spices, sugar, dried fruits and nuts.

 

Tropical Couscous for 2

1 cup couscous, 1/4 cup dried pineapple, 1/4 cup dried mango, 1/2 cup coconut, 1/4 cup instant milk, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon

 Bag ingedients together at home.  In camp, boil 1.5 cups water and add the mixture to the pot.  Cover and let sit 7 minutes.
